Leslie Adams Hathorn
is a local artist and photographer. She has been painting since childhood and favors watercolors and acrylics. She received Masters in Art and owns a local photography studio specializing in beach portraiture along with her husband.
Leslie’s work features the natural world and focuses on the South’s natural fauna and wildlife. Her art is vibrant, bold and fun. Leslie hopes to continue to promote Florida’s beautiful beaches as a vacation paradise for years to come through her works.

She has taken inspiration from Georgia O’Keeffe and has written a published work titled “Georgia O’Keeffe, Mysteries and Flowers. As a student of Sharon Long, a local watercolor artist, she owes much of her current inspiration and new works to Long’s classes and private instruction. “Nature and its glorious colors, textures, and unique details have inspired artists, poets, and writers for centuries. With astounding vistas and moving weather patterns, nature is forever changing, and with each change we are offered a glimpse of another world that is ephemeral yet enduring.”
